And more importantly, the workaround is quite easy and you don’t need to install any third-party application or go through a complex process. So, here’s how to do it.

Step 1
If you have sent a message to a group or a contact, and exceeded the seven minute time-frame, first thing you need to do is disable mobile internet and Wi-Fi on your phone.

Step 2
Now, go to Settings > choose Apps > WhatsApp.

Step 3
Tap on ‘Fore Stop’. Most probably, your phone will give a warning message that doing so will cause the app to misbehave. Ignore that warning. Clear the WhatsApp from the background as well.

Step 4
Here comes the tricky part. Go to Date and Time under Settings. Disable the auto-time and auto-time zone (tap on the toggle buttons). Now, manually enter the time of the WhatsApp message you sent to a group. Check the time mention below the WhatsApp message.

Step 5
Now, go to the WhatsApp, delete the message you sent. The app will still show you the option to “delete for everyone.” Select the option and you’re almost done.

Step 6
Reconnect to the internet. You’ll notice the message has been deleted.

Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main Examination 2018 notification would be released soon. Every year, approximately 12 lakh students apply for the engineering entrance examination. Not only the exam considered by many colleges for the admissions to undergraduate courses in engineering. The examination is also the qualifier for the other elite version which is the JEE Advanced 2018. Candidates who rank in JEE Main 2018 would be called for JEE Advanced examination – which is required for admission to the various Indian Institutes of Technology. As we wait for the JEE Mani 2018 notification to be released by CBSE, we answer a few frequently asked questions about the engineering entrance exam.
When is JEE Main 2018 notification expected to be released by CBSE?
The exact date for the release of notification for JEE Main 2018 is not known at the point. It is expected, however, that CBSE would release the JEE Main 2018 notification by end of this month. How do we apply for JEE Main 2018?
Students who are interested in applying for the engineering entrance examination are required to make online applictions on the official website jeemain.nic.in. Aspirants are informed that only online applications can be made. No offline applciations are accepted anymore for JEE Main.
Is there a limit to the number of attempts for JEE Main 2018?
Yes. The number of attempts for JEE Main is capped at 3 attempts. Please note, for aspirants who are writing the examination from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland and Odisha for admission to their state level engineering colleges, the eligibility criteria have to be checked with the respective board. For candidates aspiring for admissions to Government Funded Technical institutions, IITs, NITs, IIITs, however, the number of attempts for JEE Main is capped at a maximum of 3.
What is the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2018?
Students who have passed or are appearing in their class 12 board examination in the subjects of physics, chemistry and mathematics are eligible to apply for the examination. Please note, the aspirant should have cleared his class 12 board examination or equivalent in the year 2016, 2017 or would be clearing in the year 2018. Candidates who appeared in 2015 and failed and then cleared in 2016 are not eligible to apply. (Kindly note these are eligibility criteria derived from 2017's eligibility criteria for JEE Main examination. There may or may not be a change in the same. Candidates/ aspirants are accordingly advised to keep a check for the final notification which is expected to release by end of this month.)
What is the date for JEE Main 2018 exam?
As per the notification released by CBSE so far, the pen and paper examination for JEE Main 2018 is scheduled for April 8, 2018. The date for the online examination for JEE Main 2018 has not been shared as yet.
What is the paper pattern for JEE Main 2018?
JEE Main is an objective type paper. Candidates can choose either to appear in an offline OMR based paper or in the online or computer based examination. Aspirants are asked questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus for the JEE Main corresponds to the Class 11 and 12 syllabus as prescribed by CBSE and NCERT.
Would my class 12 marks be considered for JEE Main 2018 rank?
No. Class 12 marks are not considered for allotting the JEE Main 2018 rank. The marks, however, are required for applying to NITs, IITs and other GFTIs. Candidates aspiring for admission in NITs, IITs, etc. Are required to have a minimum of 75 percent marks or be in the top 20 percentile. For reserved categories, the percentage cut off is set at 65 percent.
What is the upper age limit for applying for JEE Main 2018?
There is an upper age limit of about 25 years for JEE Main examiantion. Tentatively, candidates who were born on or after October 1, 1993 would be eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018 -provided other conditions are met. Please note, this is a derivative eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to check the same when the official notification for JEE Main 2018 is released.
Is Aadhaar Card number mandatory for applying for JEE Main 2018?
Aadhaar card was made mandatory by CBSE for JEE Main 2017. By continuation, it is expected that the card would be mandatory for JEE Main 2018 as well. The exemptions, if any, would be shared in the official notification of JEE Main 2018.
How many students would qualify for JEE Advanced 2018?
As per the official notification already shared, a total of 2,24,000 candidates are expected to qualify for JEE Advanced 2018. Please note, this is not the exact number. In case two or more candidates have achieved similar marks/ rank, all the corresponding candidates would then be eligible for JEE Advanced 2018. In turn, the number may or may not exceed. Also, the number shared is for all the categories combined, as per the reservation criteria.
What is the medium of instruction for JEE Main 2018?
JEE Main 2018 would be conducte in English and Hindi. Last year, JEE Main aspirants from the state of Gujarat also had the option of regional language – gujarati.
All aspirants are further advised to note that the information provided above is based on the general pattern and instructions of Central Board of Secondary Education. In 2018, JEE Main would be conducted by CBSE and the notification is expected to be released by end of this month. Actual date of the notification is not shared by the board as yet. All are advised to check the actual eligibility criteria and requirements for JEE Main 2018 in the notification. New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the official notification for Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2018. The notification available on jeemain.nic.in confirms that the online application for JEE Main 2018 would start from December 1, 2017. Like last year, Aadhaar Card is mandatory. Also, candidates are required to apply online. The exams for JEE Main 2018 would be conducted on April 8, 2018 – offline paper and April 15th and 16th in online or computer based mode.
The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2018 remains similar to that of last year. Students studying in Class 12 and would be appearing in Board examinations in February - March 2018 are eligible to appear in the examination. The candidates who have appeared in their Class 12 Board examinations in the year 2017 and 2016 are also eligible. Please note, candidates who failed their Class 12 boards in 2015 but have appeared and passed in 2016, are not eligible. Candidates are requested to go through the detailed notification before filling the examination.
Here is the JEE Main 2018 Fee Structure for Boys and Girls
JEE Main 2018 would have two papers. Paper I would be a general objective type paper, which is alsoa qualifier for JEE Advanced 2018. Paper II is for candidates interested in applying for architectural courses in the country. The fee schedule is attached. Online applications begin on December 1, 2017 – Friday. Candidates are again advised to note that only online applications would be accepted. Interested candidates can fill the online application from December 1, 2017 till January 1, 2018. Admit Cards would be released in the month of March 2018.

WhatsApp has over 1 billion daily active users today. The increasing popularity of the chat app has made it synonymous to the messaging. SMS sounds old and obsolete now. These days SMS box is opened only to view OTPs, telecom's promotional messages and your bank transaction details. WhatsApp has become an indispensible part of our lives. The app has made it fast and easier to stay connected with our friends.
However, it can be little annoying at times when the chat app automatically download all those stupid memes, audio files, videos and photos. This not just makes the phone's gallery look like a complete mess, it also eats up you mobile data. Here is a fix to this to this problem.

For Android phones:

If you are an Android user, open your WhatsApp, go to Settings>Data and storage usage>Media auto download. Now uncheck all the three boxes under the Media auto download- when using mobile data, when connected on Wifi and when roaming.

For iPhones:

iPhone users can also de-clutter their phone from annoying audio file, videos and photos.  Open WhatsApp>Settings>Data and storage usage.
Now check the Never box for photos, videos, audio and documents.
Low data usage for WhatsApp calls
WhatsApp also has an option to lower the amount of data it uses during WhatsApp voice calls. Open WhatsApp>Settings>Data and storage usage> Low data usage.

Few quick points to  save mobile data and phone storage when using the WhatsApp:

-- Stop auto-download of heavy files. Videos are entertaining but hog a lot of space on your phone. You can always set the auto-download for such videos when on WiFi.
-- Allow chat back up but only on WiFi. WhatsApp stores all your text chats and images. While this is an important feature as it allows you to retrieve your photos later from Cloud, backing up on mobile data can eat up your mobile data. So try doing it only on WiFi.
-- WhatsApp has an option where you can view your contacts and how much space each is taking. Go to WhatsApp> Storage and data usage>Storage usage.
Now you will see all your recent chats along with the space each is consuming on your phone. Select the chat>Manage messages>Clear messages.
